Bright, motivated, enthusiastic, humble, and compassionate... these are just a few words that describe my students in a low income middle school. Many of my students are learning English as a second language and the best way to learn is by doing hands on activities like stem labs and experimenting in science. Their resilience and drive motivates and inspires me to continue to push them to new limits, to strive for resources so that they may have a chance at achieving their dreams.
