As computer applications and technology is a big part of my classroom environment and curriculum, adding more technology will assist the student's learning by allowing greater exposure to new tech items. In a small, rural school it is very hard to ensure students will have the needed access to new and upcoming technology. The document camera will be used in my Personal Finance, Accounting, Yearbook, and Economics classes. With the camera, I plan to show students how to complete problems and display questions and answers from books. I will also use it to view different yearbook pictures and pages so the whole class can see them.
