Thank you for learning more about my inspiring students. I work at two middle schools, each with about 550 students. Over 80% of my students are on free- or reduced lunch and the majority of students have parents who don't speak English. Many of my students go home to hard working parents who find it difficult to help them with school but who desperately want them to succeed. The stories of my students' and their families are inspiring because they work so hard and deserve so much. I hope you can join me in providing rich scientific opportunities that will guide them to pursue futures in science and to just fall in love with the discipline. It's hard work but worth it.
