When entering a classroom, there will be students who want to read every book there is out there. Then, there are other students that do not have the same motivation to read. I believe that by creating a space in the classroom for the students, with alternative seating, specifically for reading will encourage students to open up a book and start reading! The carpet will be the start to our fun and exciting reading corner in the classroom. The students will utilize the reading corner during independent or partner reading time. Let's add more fun and comfort to reading a book! The students will be using the bean bags in the classroom library. These will be alternative seating options for them to look forward when reading. Every day each table will be given a turn in the bean bags to ensure everyone is getting a chance to enjoy them.
