Music programs reach the “un-reachable” student. Many students find that music touches them in ways that other subjects do not. In order to teach students reading and math, some kids need to find the emotional connection. There is an inherent need to belong to something bigger than themselves. Knowing that Fine Arts Programs are important to schools is not enough. Many schools are committed to continue Fine Arts Programs in their districts or schools. What they lack is the funds to improve or enhance the program. Music programs could not survive without the support of the community, especially people who believe in students and the ability of Fine Arts Programs to reach all kids where they are. Thank you for supporting Fine Arts Programs like this one.
