I am the librarian at McKissack Middle School in Nashville, TN. I serve students in grades 5-8. My students are diverse learners with unique talents. I continually promote literacy in our building, and provide library programming that encourages reading and writing. This year I am working with a seventh grade class to promote ProjectLIT. The goal of ProjectLIT is to increase access to high-quality, culturally relevant books and to promote a love of reading in all schools and communities.
