As a largely self-taught artist myself, I know that good art takes time, and growing skills (for anything, not just in art) takes LOTS of practice! I am looking for help to provide sketchbooks for my 4th-5th-6th grade students to nurture their drawing skills. So many of my students begin in art saying "I can't draw..." I want to give them space to practice their skills, organize their creative ideas and at the end of the year be able to look back and reflect at the growth they have shown in their abilities in just the nine months of school. Sketchbooks for my students will aid them in building the confidence in their artistic skills!
