Our classroom is in need of a new classroom rug, along with some fun flexible seating options. Each day we begin by singing a carpet song as we make our way to our gathering area. I would love nothing more than to make this area comfortable and cozy for my students by adding a beautiful global rug. We use this area quite often throughout the day from morning meetings to reading stories and even student presentations. My students need your help to obtain comfortable and flexible seating options. We would use the learning stools for our guided reading table and wobble balls for the computer area. This will also allow students to choose a space around the room to work during math or literacy stations. Having a comfortable gathering area and flexible seating options will allow students who deal with different social and anxiety issues and/or students with attention difficulties to have safe space to learn and grow. These different seating options will give students a choice. By giving students a choice we are providing a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for them to learn. Please join us in helping make our classroom a successful learning environment for EVERY CHILD! Thank you!
