The use of bilingual dictionaries is a must for English learners, who have come from abroad to study in US schools; they are specially useful in social studies, science, and language arts classes. Students use bilingual dictionaries everyday at home, in class during lessons and in standardized tests. The bilingual dictionaries allow English Learners to perform at their highest level without worrying about the meaning of a word getting in their way. Even though students study their vocabulary words, nervous get in the way when they need to perform in a language that they are still learning. It is then when students use their bilingual dictionary to match the word in their own language with the concept they know. By having bilingual dictionaries English learners will be able to focus on improving their learning and performance. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus on learning, you will ultimately help them to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and they will improve their English literacy as well as their desire to learn!
