My guitar students are excited about performing at school and in our little community. They have made connections with several musician groups in town and are developing a broad repertoire of songs and styles. They are looking forward to sharing their talent at the local library, art center, nursing homes, active senior living neighborhood, and community group events. Shorter stands are made specifically so the sound from the guitars can project forward without interference from the music stand. This makes it easier for the audience to hear all the intricate parts and easier for the students to hear each other. They are also lower which creates a better angle for student eyes to quickly navigate from music to fingers and back when needed. Shorter stands are also easier to transport, easier to store, and take up less space in our crowded classroom.
