This space will host an entrepreneur class of mixed grade students from grades 9-12. Our goal, through this funding, is to redesign our classroom. This will be a multi-phase project. To start things off, we received 187 square feet of whiteboard using whiteboard paint. This portion of the project is already complete. Our next phase is whiteboard tables. Our plan is to have two whiteboard tables with four stools around each table and two work benches with four stools at each bench. These two seating options will be different heights, allowing student choice. There will be two more seating options, one being a bar height counter top for our computers and a few desks with a movable writing surfaces. Our last step will be the ascetics of the room. We plan to incorporate biophilic design by incorporating nature in the design. We will use LED lights to mimic more natural light as well as paint colors which promote creativity.
