This rug will help my little bodies during calendar time. They will each have their own square with enough room to wiggle and jiggle as much as they need to without bothering their neighbors. The students will be able to pay better attention to calendar time and have a more comfortable area to sit with the addition of this rug. The wonderful thing about this rug is that it reinforces personal space AND the kids can learn academics from it. They are able to learn colors, shapes, letters, and rows vs. columns from this rug. My students will learn so many great behaviors that will lead them through the rest of their careers as students.
