Johnson Elementary School is a special place. As a Title I school, it serves a diverse range of families in the Charlottesville community. The Johnson School motto is "We are family," and these words are embraced by each student and teacher within its walls. My classroom is a place where students are valued and where learning is a priority. My goal is to provide each student with the confidence and tools necessary to succeed and grow as individuals. I accomplish this goal through: interactive and differentiated lessons, maintaining high expectations, fostering a classroom community, and modeling by example. I am excited to continue and expand these ideas this year.
