My students take an independent living course that includes cooking class. Currently, we have no microwave oven or refrigerator/freezer to store ingredients. With this purchase, I can teach my students how to be safe and independent in the kitchen as they learn to prepare healthy, simple meals that they can recreate for the rest of their lives. Additionally, we do not have any working headphones. We began the year with three and all of them are now broken. During independent reading, I would like them to listen to stories. Thanks!
