Our school district has selected the Global Scholar Scantron Achievement Series to measure academic growth. The students receive individualized target goals after testing in the fall. The student's baseline score is then measured against his or her Winter and Spring scores to see if growth has occurred. Through the use of these tablets, many students can practice closing gaps in their knowledge. Using online tutorial programs along with reading passages that are aligned with text dependent questions, and interactive vocabulary activities, student can differentiate their own learning. Students are able to use every available class time honing skills through use of this technological resource.
