My students are so excited to receive these new materials to explore music! The materials will allow the students to explore melodies that are familiar to them as well as create their own compositions. The students have high energy when they come into music so boomwhackers will allow them to get out extra energy while learning! Boomwhackers make music accessible to all students, regardless of ability or a language barrier. K-2 will be able to utilize boomwhackers based off of color while 3-5 can use them to begin reading written notation. The activities and opportunities are endless with boomwhackers and I look forward to giving the students the chance to explore and create with them.
