My classroom consists of a very diverse group of learners. The majority of the students in my classroom qualify for free and reduced lunch and some struggle with trauma and homelessness. The diversity also extends to students coming to the US as refugees and entering school for the first time. As a teacher at Madison, I work to ensure my students feel safe and welcome at school so they are able to try their best to be learners every day!
