Technology is a must in any classroom today! Having direct access to a printer will allow my students to be able to create projects that can be displayed in our classroom as well as to show their parents at home. In my classroom about 75% of the work my students produce is done so electronically. They love being able to hold their final products in their hands and see what they have created. Having this printer will allow them this opportunity on a consistent basis. My students create google documents to respond to learning in literacy, writing, and math. It is my hope that they can create graphs, flyers, and many other technology based activities and for them to be able to print them. It's nice to see your work on the computer screen, but it's AMAZING to print it out and hold it in your hands. I want to give this opportunity to my students!!! So many of them have little to no access to technology outside of the classroom. By allowing them to interact with technology in their learning I am showing them some of the different ways learning can be fun. My students will be college and career ready!!!!!
