This year I want to provide my students with a comfortable, inviting, and engaging learning environment. With your help, these supplies will reach my urban classroom in ways I can't even being to express. The white boards will be used for independent and group math activities, to ensure each student has an opportunity to participate. A comfortable and cozy library carpet will help maintain a home-like feel for my students. Pencils and paper go quickly in any classroom, therefore we are trying to stock up for the next 10 months ahead of us in 3rd grade. With teaching in a school with a very diverse classroom demographic, it is crucial to include books displaying diversity. My goal is to increase my classroom library with books my students can relate with. My classroom also has an iPad cart where the Lakeshore head phones would be stored until center time and independent tech time. They would provide students the audio support needed to reduce noice pollution in the classroom. With these basic supplies my students will be given the tools needed to start to become organized, inspirational, and independent life long learners. Thank you so much for helping out my class!
