My students come from low income homes and they do not have technology at home. I want them to become more engaged in learning. We have 1 desktop in the classroom and it is not enough for a whole classroom. These tablets will also help my students with special needs. I have also been reseaching apps and websites to help my students become better students. I do not like to use worksheets with my students so the tablets will create an active learning environment. Students will enjoy the interactive games and applications. My students appreciate the tablets in the classroom.
