A document camera will help my scholars follow a visual model. There are many EL students in the class, and they could greatly benefit by following visuals. The document camera can enlarge images or texts, and enable all students to see and follow along with the lesson. This technology in the classroom could allow for much more possibility, as I will be able to better guide instruction. The document camera is a marvelous tool for increasing content clarity. With it, we can do live demonstrations under the camera lens to show students exactly what is being asked of them, as well as point to exact words/sentences in a text for emphasis.
