My students love to read and are very motivated to learn English. However, they become frustrated easily when they don't understand stories in English. For this reason, a listening center with all of their favorite fairy tale stories will make the process of learning English that much more enjoyable and fun. I'm requesting a Best-Buy Listening Center and a Storyteller Read-Along Library. With this new listening center set-up, my students will be able to listen and read different tales during workstations, which will improve their fluency, listening skills, as well as phonological awareness. Finally, with this project, we will be aiming to achieve two essential objectives - help to develop bilingual students and foster bilingual readers.
