I teach reading, writing, social studies, and science in a second grade, dual language class. Our school has limited technology resources within the classrooms. My students, as well as many people around the world, need technology to evolve, move forward, and excel. My scholars can only count on 4 computer stations to share daily. Sometimes one or two computers don't work properly, and we have to wait a while for someone to repair them. As a result, not all of the students can take advantage of the educational resources offered online by the district or any other resources offered online designed to improve, practice, apply and expand their learning. With so many activities and daily school demands, many times some students do not have the opportunity to use a computer during the entire week. Therefore, with these Chromebooks, all of my students will be very happy and have access to the online activities every week to help them continue growing and improve their reading and writing abilities.
