My first graders learn best through games. With the help of this project, I will be able to bring math games into my classroom. Students will be able to practice addition and subtraction facts in a way that allows them to have fun and continue learning. Instead of just using rote memorization, students will be engaged through games. This also helps their problem-solving skills and level 4 thinking; they will need to apply what they have learned to a new situation. Games also help students with their social skills and learning to cooperate and play nicely with each other.
