I would like to be able to use the resources I have requested to allow my students to manipulate the scientific world around them. It is my experience that the best taught lesson do not last in the students mind nearly as long as an activity that allowed movement and the manipulation of parts. I believe that the best way for students to improve their learning is by using fun and engaging activities that encourage the students to learn. One of the ways I would do this is with games like Jenga. I would like to use the track to allow my students to create a roller coaster and explore the physics of force first hand. I feel that the best way for my students to understand electricity and magnetism is by manipulating circuits and magnets.
