My scholars are K-2, special Ed. students being serviced in a self contained classroom. They are attending an Investment School in Cleveland, Ohio. Investment schools are the lowest 10-15% of schools in the district that call for immediate and dramatic action. This network of Investment Schools represents not only our clearest need, but also our greatest opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students. Yes..my students come from non-traditional homes. Yes..my students come from a high poverty area. But what they lack in socioeconomic, they make up for in attitude. It is my mission to build grit and embrace their differences to activate the power they have within themselves as vibrant learners of tomorrows future. Our classroom is not just a classroom, it is an Experience. "Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them become what they are capable of becoming." - Goethe
