These books and comfy reading spots will help students to have more choice as to what book they want to read and more titles at their level! Help them become more engaged readers during Independent Reading in our classroom by giving them more titles to choose from. Our district is allotted a certain amount of funding for books but must be spread out PreK-12 with priority given to most in need. Since I spend much of my own money in creating my library this would be a great place to increase my students choice for books! The seating they can use to be a comfy reader...that is how I like to read!
