I intend to use these beads in order to create a hands-on lab for my students. The concept is for me to go through and group specific beads on each paper clip. Each paper clip will represent 1 molecule. The sistema boxes will store individual sets for each group of kids and they will be able to count specific bead colors and match the different sides of the equation. This lab should be an extreme benefit when helping them learn to balance equations! They will be able to have an actual visual perception of the equations being balanced or unbalanced and it will be easier to walk through the concept of conservation of mass.
