I would love to create a "math board" where students can work on review skills and number sense on a daily basis. I have seen this daily work have great success in the past, but do not have the supplies needed in my new room. Mathematical thinking is so important! Students will develop a greater understanding of number sense through daily work at math board. They will work through a base-ten center, a tens frame block, add on to a hundreds chart to name a few. They will also review and preview important life skills such as money and time.
