For the past twelve years, I have had the privilege of teaching 4th grade in a Title 1 school and district. In my classroom, students worked in groups and were allowed to move around as needed. I always felt proud to see my students collaborating, sharing, and helping each other. This year, I will be teaching in a "Challenge Lab" which will be part of a "Gifted and Talented" classroom. As soon as students return to the classroom, they will each have the opportunity to participate in the engaging activities in this classroom to help develop their problem solving and critical thinking skills, as well as social, emotional, and physical development. It is my goal, to provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience. I would appreciate your participation in helping me create a classroom that will provide opportunities for higher learning to take place while students are having fun.
