Having the set of 5 Chromebooks will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. On way they will be used is to look up medical conditions for research and learning. Another way they will be used is by recording the signs and symptoms of different medical conditions. They could collaborate on group findings by sharing through the Chromebook. I could download apps for various medical practice skills which would allow me to have activities for both my highest performing and most struggling students. My project will make a difference because, as I said before, these students are the digital natives. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
