Acquiring multiple Osmo systems for our classroom will allow my students to interact with curriculum in a new, engaging way. It will also provide a space for them to work independently on a new skill or task, extending well beyond typical adademics. Osmo is educational technology that fosters learning in important areas such as creative problem solving, art, STEM, and Language Arts. The "Coding Awbie" game teaches logic, problem solving skills, and coding. "Coding Jam" teaches advanced coding concepts and how to create music. "Tangram" fosters spatial relational skills. "Words" teaches word analysis, spelling, and critical thinking skills. "Numbers" teaches counting, addition and multiplication. "Pizza Co." teaches math, money, fractions, and nonverbal communication. "Monster" teaches drawing skills and builds creative confidence. Overall, this project will help build lifelong positive learning experiences for every student in my classroom.
