The books I am requesting will be used daily. I do both read alouds with whole class books and reading groups with small group books every single school day. I have requested books that are both on their level (for small group reading) and above their level (for whole group reading.) I believe the books I am requesting will be extremely intriguing to my students. I know they will be excited to dig into each book. Authentic trade books help students flourish in reading! The books I am requesting are The Boy Who Dared, Number the Stars, The Giver, Among the Hidden, Freak the Mighty, Wonder, The One and Only Ivan, Tuck Everlasting, One Crazy Summer, The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg, Rules, How to Eat Fried Worms, A Boy Called Slow, A Handful of Stars, George Washington's Spy, The Ghost's Grave, The Mysterious Benedict Society, Glory Be, The Sign of the Beaver, Fever 1793, Among the Hidden, Scar Island, Esperanza Rising, Where the Red Fern Grows, and Elijah of Buxton.
