My hope for this project is to give my students supplies to keep and use at home, for my students to have access to materials, and that parents will be able to support learning at school. I'd like my students to take home organization bins filled with pencils, notebooks, scissors, erasers, and crayons. It would give them a sense of responsibility for materials, help with organization, and allow access to resources outside of school. I will also fill the bins with books, flashcards, and other materials to help support lessons focused on in class. Imagine trying to do homework, write a story, or create a project at home, only to find you don't even have a pencil or paper. Many of my students often ask to take supplies home so they can write, draw a picture, or study. My students will be able to continue to learn and create at home with funding of this project.
