My classroom focuses on working with students who struggle with mathematics. We do this by filling in knowledge gaps and then also giving them practice with harder math concepts. I am also a special education teacher so a lot of what I focus on other than academics are skills needed for meaningful employment. The majority of my students struggle on a daily basis either with poverty, hard home life, cognitive disabilities, or emotional disabilities. Sometimes all of the above. Any help is welcome. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping provide the best day and environment I can for my students.
