My students are wanting to start a game club at their school. I am an avid gamer myself but they want some games just for the school. I have introduced some of my games to them and they have gone out and researched and found some more that they might like. Games bring people together and give us a chance to get to know one another better and hang out outside of normal school hours. My students want to help build the community in their school and they are choosing a board game club as that avenue. We are choosing a variety of games so that any coming to the game club has different options to choose from. My students have already met a few times with some of the games from my collection and are excited to continue and try out some new games that they can call their own. My students want a safe and fun place to be a couple times a week after school, and having a game club is perfect in providing that for them.
