My kindergarten students have a passion for reading and exploring through literature. My students are encouraged to branch out and try reading books, even if they do not know all of the words. The books in this project will be used in a weekly "book" study where students can use retelling skills to help them read the stories. This project will provide a classroom library filled with a variety of books to fuel their love for reading. Providing them with a diverse library filled with books they will love will in return help them build a foundation for reading and continue to fuel their love for books.
