Since English is a second language for many of my students, a Cricut will help in my classroom to label and organize items to make it easier for the students to learn the spelling and names of all sorts of different things in the classroom. With the use of a Cricut, I will label everyday items, thus providing visuals for students to make a real world connection between words and items located around the room. My students are so eager to learn and are very resourceful and frequently use things around the room to enhance their knowledge of the English language. Using the Cricut to label things and organize items, will give students opportunities to practice spelling and sounding out words daily in the classroom. Seeing the proper spelling of labelled items around the classroom will enhance their speaking and writing skills as well. It is my desire to create a visual real life word bank around the classroom for my students.
