Being computer/tech savvy is essential in today's world. I want my students to see the potential of using computers as tools instead of toys and chromebooks would be the perfect choice for this endeavor. Using the suite of google tools has proven to be effective with my students in the past but our technology in the school is woefully inadequate. Helping fund this project will give a group of underrepresented students an opportunity to not only approach and achieve independence, it also gives them the opportunity to be contributing members of society and erase some of the stigmas attached to students with disabilities.
