These students have been working so incredibly hard adjusting to our virtual classroom but many of them are in need of basic school supplies. With things like dry erase boards and writers journals, students will be able to practice writing more effectively. Much of what we have been doing so far has been on the computer and although they have made it work, these supplies would give them the hands-on manipulatives that they so desperately need. As Kindergarteners, their learning should be hands-on and should incorporate things like play, trial and error and exploration. These materials would give students a chance to learn more effectively and make our virtual lessons more engaging.
