My school is a Title 1 school. In addition to that, we also have a high percentage of ELLs. My class is composed of about 60-70% hispanic students and out of those about 40% of them receive ESL services. I will also have two newcomer students from Mexico who only speak Spanish. In my class I love to incorporate context from different cultures as well as bringing in my students' cultures. My goal for this year is to incorporate more literature and improve parent engagement.
