The students I work with are 1-2 grade levels behind in reading. We have some laptops available, but Amazon Kindles will help give more of my students access to high interest books. My students need books on their reading level and this is difficult at this age. Students get embarrassed when they are reading an 'easy' book in front of their peers. I would love to be able to have a reading center and literature circles. I would also be able to download apps that will help to target the specific needs of individual students. Your donation will allow easier access, to close the gap and create lifelong readers!
