Everyone needs a place of their own. In our library, I try to make sure that all of my students feel as though they are part of a classroom family. However, it is very difficult to make the children feel as though they are part of the group if they can't fit into the group. My students would use the carpet I am requesting to provide all of my classes their own individual spots. This carpet would provide my students with a sense of belonging. This carpet would allow all age groups to practice respecting others' personal space. It would provide my students with boundaries that separate each person's spot. This project would allow ALL of my students to feel included in the group.
