My students are in the last few years of their K-12 education, in the transition program. Throughout their 2-3 years in the program, they will create a physical portfolio of their skills mastered to showcase at their graduation. In this portfolio will be real life resources (resumes, cover letters, etc.) along with accomplishments (showing the process of real life budgeting, hands on projects, etc.). With supplies to create their physical portfolio, they will be able to take their learning with them to their next step in life, whether it be recipes they have followed and successfully completed, jobs and skills they can do, or preparing for college level work. These supplies will be their final keepsake and representation of their learning and accomplishments.
