My students make me look forward to coming into the classroom everyday. I teach a mild to moderate special education preschool class in a public school district in Northern California. While my students have aspects that they work hard to overcome, they shine with amazing attributes. I have students who are so smart, and some are already writing. I have others who are so compassionate and sweet, always checking in with their friends, or helping me. I have some students who show strong leadership qualities, who always help model what students should be working on. There are other students who are so humorous they never fail to make me laugh. It is truly inspiring to see how hard these children work each and every day, and I am grateful to have a class that pushes me to become a better teacher, and individual.
