Research shows that giving students choice in the classroom improves their involvement, and participation in daily lessons. More than once students, who are not in my class, have said to me "They get to PICK?" with a hint of both excitement and jealousy. I want to continue with the trend of allowing my students choice in the classroom by giving them flexible seating. My project will make a difference because it allows students to learn in the way in which they are comfortable. As adults, we do not appreciate being stuffed into a desk all day. How could the students?
