Our second graders need movement in the classroom. It is difficult to keep everyone's attention when seating can be so rigid. These wobble chairs and cushions would allow for confined movement that is so greatly needed in our classroom. I think of the multitudes of meetings we all attend as adults in our workplaces. I tell my kids, "this is your job right now." Imaging sitting there for only one hour, unable to break, confined to a hard plastic or wooden chair....miserable. Let's make it fun! Behavior and attention issues arise from being confined to such a small space with limited areas to allow for more movement. Because we are in a trailer, unwanted behaviors would be greatly thwarted with these items. These items would keep them more engaged, creating the best learning environment possible.
