Choice is key to develop student engagement. Having a varied classroom library will allow students to experience the joy of transporting themselves to the unlimited world of knowledge. Our classroom is in great need of literacy opportunities! Reading develops analytical skills that will translate into all subject areas. I would love to see my students become avid readers. In order to do so, they need to be exposed to a wide \variety of topics, genres, authors and characters. All the books that are requested in this project are on a reading level that will challenge and enrich their reading experience.

About my class
