Each year our Third grade students read the classic chapter book "Sarah, Plain and Tall." It is something they look forward to and enjoy reading. Our current copies of this book have seen a lot of love over the years and need to be replaced. We cannot allow the books to go home with the students or even be left in their desks because we are afraid they will not be able to withstand any more wear and tear. New copies of these books will allow our students to enjoy them at school and also allow them to take them home for homework and studying purposes. I am constantly looking for more space in my room to display posters and anchor charts for what we are currently working on in the classroom. This movable dry erase board will allow me to display these items in a place where all students can see and use them. The dry erase component will also be useful when I need to write quick write prompts, give directions, or display graphic organizers.
