Our sixth grade classroom is located in a public school in the heart of Georgia. Although we are classified as a school in a low social economic area with majority of our students on free and reduced lunch; we strive to reach academic success. We explore mathematics, social studies, reading, language arts, science, health, etc. through hands-on, real life experiences; daily. At this time, we are working with limited amount of learning tools and resources, which makes reaching our goal of producing independent, life long, continuous learners who will eventually become large contributors to our local community, furthermore society, quite difficult.

About my class
